Folders

A folder is a board inside your board, with its own cards and connections.

A folder holds its own cards, its own arrows, and its own view. Folders can sit inside folders.

  • Open a folder: double-click it on desktop, tap it on a phone or tablet.
  • Move a card in: drag it onto the folder.
  • Move a card out: drag it onto a part of the breadcrumb path at the top, or right-click it and choose Move to parent folder.
  • Comments stay in the folder they were left in. The folder shows a badge with the count from everything inside it.

Folder or stack?

A stack keeps a handful of related cards visible on the board. A folder puts a whole unit of planning out of the way: a second location, a full alternate plan, an episode.
