Do I need a paid plan to share my work?

No. Sharing a board and editing one together in real time are both free on every plan, including Free. A collaboration tool that charges you to invite a teammate is not one. What you pay for is the AI doing the paperwork, not the number of people standing around the board.

What counts as a document?

Accepted Answer

One generated brief, treatment, shot list, call sheet, storyboard, or script breakdown. One research turn in chat also counts as one. Editing a document by hand afterwards is free and unlimited, and so is everything else on the canvas.

What happens when I run out?

On Free, generation pauses until the next month and everything already on your boards stays exactly as it is. On Pro and Studio you keep going at $1 per extra document, and we tell you before you cross the line rather than after.

How do Pro and Studio pricing compare?

Accepted Answer

Pro is $19 per editor per month, and each person collaborating has their own plan. Studio is one admin-managed workspace at $49/mo plus $12 per seat, with its 250 documents pooled across everyone rather than split per person. Studio wins on price once you pass about four editors, and it adds the shared workspace, brand kit, and admin analytics.

Can I switch from Pro to Studio mid-cycle?

Yes. Stripe prorates the change. You only pay the difference for the days left in the current period.

What are the limits on Free?

Accepted Answer

Five documents a month. Boards, canvas nodes, collaborators, and share links are all unlimited, because those cost us almost nothing to run. Five is enough to take one real project from references to a shot list your crew can read. You can export a watermarked preview of the production book; the full export is Pro.

Can I cancel any time?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from Settings. Paid plans run until the end of the current period.
